Your food waste is kept in a sealed bin. And because it is treated with our bacteria inoculant (bokashi) it doesn’t rot and smell.
Using the simple bokashi system, you just add your waste to the supplied bin. Keep it closed between fillings. We will schedule collection times with you directly.
For every 10kg of food waste you divert from landfill you save 6.2kg of carbon emissions.
The food waste is placed into food grade polypropylene sealed and airtight drum and treated with Earth Bokash. Earth Bokashi is used to stabilise food waste, prevents rotting through a fermentation process, and therefore does not contribute to greenhouse gases.
